Taking a break from chems or alcohol isn’t always easy, but with the help of yoga you can develop skills to remain centred in your body and mind no matter how bad the cravings are. Yoga with sober(ish) men is a class for GBTQ men who want to take charge of their chems and alcohol use, and experience something holistic with other members of the community. In the class we don’t preach sobriety but instead we promote soberishness - a close to life approach that empowers us to navigate between substance use and sobriety in the way that feels right for each individual. Yoga is a great way to connect with the breath and tune into what is present in our thoughts and bodily sensations. We will work together at improving our self-awareness while being kind and loving towards all that comes up in the practice. The class is open to all levels, all you need is a yoga mat and a device which you can run Zoom on. Fully confidential. FIRST CLASS IS ALWAYS FREE! Enter coupon code NAMASLAY at checkout.
